A role that matters. Every single day.
Eliot has a big personality, significant health needs, and a life worth living fully. We're looking for someone ready to help make that happen.
Apply NowWhat you'll do
At its heart, this is a companionship role. You'll spend your days with Eliot — a funny, warm, and creative 29-year-old who loves the Muppets, musicals, coloring, puzzles, and helping out in the kitchen. He has a great sense of humor and a goofy streak that surfaces at exactly the right moment.
Eliot is non-verbal, but he communicates through a personalized set of ASL-based signs and a tablet communication app. We'll teach you his style. And one of the first things he'll likely do is give you your own sign name. That's just Eliot.
He also has significant health issues that are a real part of daily life. This is genuine care work: meaningful, sometimes demanding, and important. Day to day, you'll be:
- Providing companionship and engaging in Eliot's favorite activities at home
- Helping with meals, grooming, dressing, and daily hygiene
- Supporting his medical routines and daily health monitoring
- Keeping clear daily notes using a smartphone app
- Transporting him to occasional outings or appointments (your own vehicle required)
- Light housekeeping related to his care
